Background

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, this Praise Challenge will closely follow David's prayer routine;

 

Psalm 119:164 "Seven times a day do I praise thee because of thy righteous judgments." 

 

Psalm 119:62 "At midnight I will rise to give thanks unto thee because of thy righteous judgments."

In scripture, God divides the day into eight, three hour watches. We'll be starting each watch with praise and thanksgiving!

Details

• Starting May 8th at 12am, through May 14th to 6pm (praise times on the flyer)

• There will be a livestream starting at the beginning of each watch, and for a few minutes we'll be giving God praise and thanksgiving for all he's done!

• Each praise session won't be much longer than a couple minutes, the point is to acknowledge him and keep our hearts on Christ (God is looking at your heart, not the clock!).

• Those that join the email listing below will be sent email reminders to the start of each stream. (Even if you won't join each stream, you can use it as a scheduled reminder so you don't miss out!)

The Lord placed on my heart, "a time of refreshing". The joy of the Lord is our strength, and you can't help but receive his joy as you praise him!

 

This will be a time to dedicate our focus on Jesus Christ, to be grateful for all he's done, and to lower ourselves before him! So let's praise his mighty name!
