Jesus Loves You!
Even as you read this, God is looking at you from heaven with loving eyes.
Romans 5:8 “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
Many people think God is unfair because of the hardships faced in life, but this is far from the truth. God gave his creation free will, the ability to make their own decisions. Mankind was first created out of dust and placed in a place called the Garden of Eden. This Garden of Eden was paradise, God's presence was there, he openly spoke to mankind and walked with them there, and there was none of the suffering we experience today. Adam and Eve were the first two people ever created, and God gave them a specific commandment, Genesis 2:16-17 KJV "And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: 17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die."
They chose to disobeyed God's commandment and God punished them by banishing mankind from the garden, and introducing the pain and hardship we know of today. Throughout the bible you'll see over 600 laws that follow this path, break any of God's commandments, receive punishment. But why is this? Two reasons, the first is because God is the supreme ruler over all creation, the source of love, goodness, mercy, and holiness. This ties into the second reason, because of God's divine and ultimate supremacy, everything he says is the truth, his spoken word is the governing law all creation must obey, from the first particle of dust, to you reading this right now. God will give you what you're looking for, either Him which is salvation, or your own desires which leads to destruction.
Galatians 6:7-8
“Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.”
When you die, God will judge every word you've ever spoken, every action you've ever done, and every thought you've ever had and compare it to his perfect law. The truth is all of us have broken God's commandments. Because God is righteous and requires obedience and submission from all creation, simply breaking one of his commandments (which is sinning against God) earns you an eternity in hell.
Ecclesiastes 12:14
"For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil."
Romans 3:19
"Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be silenced and the whole world held accountable to God."
James 2:10
“Whoever breaks one commandment is guilty of breaking them all.”
There is a light!
But there is a light in all this, and His name is Jesus Christ! God loved you so much he decided to send His only Son, Jesus Christ to pay the price for your sin and give you a path to salvation!
John 3:16
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."
How did he pay for your sin? By being the perfect sacrifice, living a perfect life, fulfilling every commandment and law in the bible, then died the death you deserved. He was crucified on the cross, died and rose from the dead on the third day, proving he was without sin, and overcame death out of love and mercy towards all those who will receive him as Lord. Then ascended into heaven to be seated at the right hand of God the Father!
1 John 3:5
"And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin."
Hebrews 10:10-12
"By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. 11 And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: 12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;"
Go to Heaven!
Jesus Christ never broke God's word, and was void of sin, but because he loved you he took on the fullest punishment of the law, death. He died the death you deserved, He was crucified on the cross and paid for all your sin with his own blood, because He loves you. He died on the cross, was buried in a tomb and rose from the dead on the third day because He was perfect. He presented himself to over 500 witnesses at the same time (1 Cor. 15:6), then ascended into heaven to be seated at the right hand of God the Father. He did all of this out of love!
There is only one way to receive salvation. Believe with all your heart that Jesus has paid for your sin by his sacrificial death on the cross, believe God raised him from the dead on the third day, and confess Jesus as your Lord and savior (Romans 10:9)!
Salvation is not reliant on your good deeds, or even mistakes in life, Jesus offers this salvation to all races, peoples, nations and background!
Galatians 3:28
"There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus."
John 14:6
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
Say This Prayer for Salvation!
Jesus, I believe that you are God & and that the bible is your word and truth. I confess that I am a guilty sinner, deserving of eternal damnation, and I believe you were crucified for my sin, died, buried, and rose from the dead on the 3rd day. I believe you ascended into heaven to be seated at the right hand of God the Father and I believe your blood has washed me clean of all my sin. Jesus, I confess that you are my Lord. I give you my life and I ask that you would forgive me for all my sin. Please enter into my heart and transform my life, I am yours now and forever. Amen
